Following the exceptionally successful inaugural edition of the International Audience Development Forum, held in 2025 and attended by more than one hundred theatre professionals, communications experts, researchers and artists from Croatia and abroad, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb will organise the second International Audience Development Forum.
This year’s forum, entitled Our Audience of the Future, addresses some of the most pressing questions facing cultural institutions today: how to understand new audiences, how to build long-term relationships with diverse communities, and how to make the arts more accessible, relevant and open to new generations.
The programme will bring together distinguished international speakers, representatives of cultural institutions, researchers and practitioners who, through panel discussions, lectures, case studies and workshops, will present contemporary approaches to audience development and offer practical tools for their application across a range of cultural contexts.
