TRADITIONAL NEW YEAR’S EVE 2026 CELEBRATION AT THE CROATIAN NATIONAL THEATRE IN ZAGREB:
THE MOST SPECTACULAR NEW YEAR’S EDITION TO DATE
Once again this year, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is preparing one of the city’s most distinctive and most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations. The traditional festive event, renowned for its elegance and unique atmosphere, will take place with an exclusive gala programme and a multi-course dinner in the theatre foyer, for one hundred guests.
The New Year’s Eve evening begins in grand style with the operetta delight Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II, directed by Krešimir Dolenčić. The rhythm, humour and glamour of this classic will perfectly usher the audience into a night of celebration and joy.
After the performance, guests will step into the lavishly decorated foyer, transformed into a setting of New Year’s magic. They will be welcomed by a formal multi-course dinner, accompanied by a premium wine selection and an all-inclusive drinks offer. Every detail has been designed with one goal in mind – to provide complete enjoyment on this unforgettable evening. The musical atmosphere will be created by Irma Dragičević with her band, as well as the outstanding baritone Leon Košavić, who will also shine on stage that same evening in the role of Dr Falke in Die Fledermaus.
The highlight of the evening comes immediately after midnight – dancing on the stage of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb! This is a unique opportunity for guests to step onto the very stage where the greatest artists perform. The New Year’s Eve package includes a box seat ticket for the performance of Die Fledermaus from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, the gala celebration from 8:30 pm to 1:30 am, a formal multi-course dinner with an all-inclusive drinks offer, a musical programme, and dancing on the HNK stage after midnight.
