The traditional New Year’s Eve celebration at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb returns in one of its most lavish editions, featuring a gala dinner in the foyer and an exclusive programme for 100 guests, making this night truly special.
The evening will begin with the best possible theatrical overture: Johann Strauss II’s operetta Die Fledermaus, directed by Krešimir Dolenčić.
After the performance, guests will continue the evening in the magical ambience of the CNT foyer, enjoying carefully curated festive multi-course dishes and a rich selection of Croatian wines and beverages.
The musical programme will feature performances by Irma Dragičević with her band and Leon Košavić, who will also appear earlier that evening on the CNT stage as Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus.
The highlight of the evening is to be expected just after midnight: dancing on the CNT stage—an experience that delights guests year after year and remains one of the most distinctive features of our New Year’s celebration.
