Premiere of Leda by Miroslav KrležaDrama — 27. May 2023.

The opening night of Leda by Miroslav Krleža was held on the same date as the global broadcasting of Ivo Josipović's opera Lennon via the OperaVision platform, Friday May 26, 2023. Two significant theatre events in one evening: the Drama ensemble was praised by the audience at the CNT in Zagreb, while a large number of spectators could enjoy opera art and watch the broadcasting of opera Lennon.

Krleža's Leda was staged at the CNT in Zagreb after more than two decades. It was directed by Franka Perković who pointed out that the work on Leda was a nice, exciting and an unpredictable journey.

Dramaturge Dino Pešut said that during the creative phase it was fun doing songs with Roko Crnić and Hrvoje Klemenčić from the Porto Morto band. We followed the drama, but we tried to contextualise it gently, into the current times, not forcing the text but offering a reading that speaks about us – we are still all of this, some one hundred years later.

The world fraud Oliver Urban was Jerko Marčić, his friend Aurel Igor Kovač, his wife Klara Jadranka Đokić, a former opera singer Melita was Iva Jerković and her husband, snob Klanfar Dušan Bućan. Tesa Litvan appeared as Leda, Gloria Dubelj and Iva Šimić Šakoronja as ladies and Ivan Colarić as the gentleman.
The set designer was Paola Lugarić, costumes were created by Doris Kristić, stage movement by Petra Hrašćanec, lighting designer Elvis Butković, and Roko Crnić and Hrvoje Klemenčić were responsible for the music. The assistant stage director was Toma Serdarević, assistant set designer Aleksandra Vukićević and the assistant costume designer Ana Trišler.
