Premiere of Enigma variations directed by Neva RošićDrama — 06. March 2023.
The premiere of Enigma variations written by the French writer, philosopher, dramatist and movie director Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt is scheduled for March 5, 2023 in the Sound studio of the CNT in Zagreb. It is a co-production with the CNT Ivan noble Zajc in Rijeka, directed by one of the greatest artists of the Croatian theatre Neva Rošić. She staged the same text in the Italian Drama of the CNT Ivan noble Zajc in Rijeka last season.
Luka Dragić in the role of a journalist and Aleksandar Cvjetković in the role of a literature Nobel winner perform together for the first time. They are the only two characters in the performance and the object of their interest, a woman, remains a mysterious being.
Enigma variations are staged all over the world and Schmitt borrowed the title from the English composer Edward Elgar who composed 14 variations based on love relationships.
