Our opera soloist Filip Filipović won the second prize at the Hans Gabor Belvedere international singing competition with more than 1000 contestants.
The Hans Gabor Belvedere international singing competition is one of the largest competitions of young opera singers and one of the most renowned singing competitions in the world. The jury for the finals consists of opera and casting directors of the prestigious Opera theatres including the Met Opera in New York, ROH in London, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, opera in Cape Town, Deutsche Opera Berlin. Many singers who have won prizes at this prominent world singing competition became global opera stars.
