Stage director Krešimir Dolenčić marked his 40th artistic anniversary with one of the performances of the most popular Mozart's opera The Magic Flute that he directed and that premiered at the CNT in Zagreb in 2018.
The general manager Iva Hraste Sočo and the president of the Croatian Association of Dramatic Artists Society Ivica Pucar thanked him for his work.
Mozart's last opera The Magic Flute in his direction is a performance that, since its premiere, always sold out and, between 2018 and 2023, was performed 26 times.
The Magic Flute is an opera, a serious fairy-tale, a witty enchantment, a work of profound messages in which, correspondingly with the current time, man must experience various temptations, primarily within himself, in order to find love, wisdom, beauty and peace. Mozart has always been the best disinfection of the soul, the best protection against bad mood and the best ambassador of humanism, optimism ad noble human virtues, said Dolenčić.
