Wayne McGregor's ballet Dyad 1929 for the first time on the stage of the CNT in ZagrebBallet — 12. February 2024.
INSIGHT INTO THE PREMIERE
A panel-discussion on one of the most interesting and exciting choreographers of today, Wayne McGregor whose choreography DYAD 1929 will premiere on March 15, 2024, at the CNT in Zagreb, will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at noon at the Foyer of the CNT in Zagreb.
In order to bring McGregor's creative multiverse closer, the participants of the panel will talk about the numerous aspects of his artistic work that encompasses not only dance, but also all areas of performative arts that penetrate into the area of science and neuroscience with the use of the latest technological achievements of the 21st century, such as the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI).
The participants of the panel are Massimiliano Volpini, director of the Ballet of the CNT in Zagreb; Davide Di Pretoro who is responsible for the staging of choreography of ballet DYAD 1929; Andreja Jeličić, associate professor at the Department of Dance at the Academy of Dramatic Art; Iva Nerina Sibila, dance artist, publicist and assistant professor and Iva Višak, ballet mistress. Beside short presentations, video material relating to the performance will be shown at the panel.
