Spectacular Opera program for the anniversary of Tomić&CoOpera — 24. May 2023.
The Opera Gala concert held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the CNT in Zagreb marked the 30th anniversary of company Tomić&Co that suggested that this jubilee be celebrated in the leading theatre institution in Croatia, the CNT in Zagreb.
The auditorium was filled with friends and associates of Tomić&Co. and citizens gathered in front of the theatre where the entire spectacular event was broadcasted on a large screen. The program included appearances of the Mexican tenor Javier Camarena, the Romanian baritone George Petean, the CNT Opera principal Marija Kuhar Šoša, mezzosoprano Martina Mikelić, Marin Čargo and tenor Damir Klačar as well as the Chorus of the CNT with accompaniment of the CNT Orchestra, under the leadership of maestro Ivan Repušić.
The program presented works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi, Jakov Gotovac, Richard Wagner and other Croatian and international authors.
