Opera Lennon globally accessible to spectators via OperaVision platformFrom the theatre — 23. May 2023.

Millions of opera lovers and fans all around the globe will be able to watch the contemporary Croatian opera Lennon composed by Ivo Josipović and directed by Marina Pejnović with Ivan Josip Skender as conductor on May 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. via the OperaVision platform, at the official  YouTube site https://operavision.eu/performance/lennon. The recording will be available all until November 26, 2023, at noon and it will have Croatian and English subtitles.

OperaVision is a non-profit project that offers theatres all around Europe greater visibility of projects, networking and increases the possibilities for international guest performances and exchanges. It is financed by the European Commission's program Creative Europe and promotes opera art using new technologies. OperaVision was founded by Opera Europa, the largest non-profit association that gathers the largest European Opera houses such as La Monnaie, Brussels, Royal Opera House, London, Opera Frankfurt, Teatro Real from Madrid, Royal Swedish Opera from Stockholm, and among others the CNT in Zagreb. Until now, the CNT in Zagreb has already broadcasted on the platform its performances: The Medium, Turandot, Ero the Joker and Nikola Šubić Zrinjski.

The cast for opera Lennon is as follows: tenor Domagoj Dorotić (Lennon), soprano Marija Kuhar Šoša (Yoko Ono), mezzosoprano Dubravka Šeparović Mušović (May), bass-baritone Ozren Bilušić (Lennon's killer Mark David Chapman), soprano Kristina Anđelka Đopar (Lennon's aunt Mimi), mezzosoprano Sofia Ameli Gojić (Lennon's mother Julia), mezzosoprano Helena Lucić Šego (Lennon's first wife Cynthia), tenor Dario Ćurić (Stu, first bass guitarist of The Beatles), tenor Siniša Galović (Paul McCartney), baritone Davor Radić (Ringo Star), baritone Siniša Hapač (George Harrison), baritone Alen Ruško (Lennon's first son Julian) and bass Siniša Štork (Brian Epstein, the first manager of The Beatles).
