The gala concert on the occasion of 150 years of the building of the Croatian Music Institute with the Zagreb Philharmonic and prominent musicians with special support of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb as the host of the concert, will be held on May 2, 2023, at 9 p.m.
The Croatian Music Institute (HGZ) is about to complete the structural renewal of its building and after that, a complete reconstruction of the historical beauty in Gundulićeva street will follow. Beside the demanding project of its reconstruction the Institute constantly works on the spreading of music culture and is diligently preparing great anniversaries: in 2026. - 150 years of the building with the first concert hall in Zagreb and in 2027. - 200 years of uninterrupted existence and functioning of the oldest Croatian citizens' association.
