With a special program on March 21, 2023, at 10 a.m. in the CNT Foyer, we shall recollect the career and some of the roles of the great soprano voice of Blaženka Milić. She remained faithful to the Opera of the CNT in Zagreb her entire career and offered the spectators unforgettable roles that were praised both by the critique and the visitors. In her 40-year-long career, she sang the most demanding soprano roles, from belcanto, Croatian opera masterpieces to Wagnerian heroines. With a brilliant voice, perfect pronunciation, and expression, Bajka, as we all called her, was one of our most precious opera artists who, with her dedication and quality, indebted generations. In this program the speakers will be general manager Iva Hraste Sočo, music critic and publicist Davor Schopf and opera singer Vitomir Marof.
