The Opera of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb announces an international audition for the following position - bass soloist in the Opera ensemble.
The starting date is September 1, 2024. and the job covers the seasons 2024./2025. and 2025./2026.
The engagement can include appearances in the following operas: La Boheme, Così fan tutte, Rigoletto, Traviata, Nabucco,The Magic Flute, Madama Butterfly,Werther, Rusalka.
First round of auditions: Send your CV and video recordings (two opera arias) by March 1, 2024 to the following email address – opera@hnk.hr
IMPORTANT: in „subject line“ write "Bass soloist audition application". Send the recordings via a link (WeTransfer or Dropbox), not as an email attachment.
Candidates who pass the first round of auditions will be selected and notified no later than March 15, 2024.
Second round of auditions: April 24, 2024 at 6 p.m. on main Stage.
Audition repertoire: 5 opera arias in three different languages (Italian mandatory).
Opera accompanists will be available on the day of the audition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a 20-minute rehearsal.
