HNK Zagreb Joins World Opera Stars at Zagreb ClassicFrom the theatre — 02. June 2026.
From 19 June to 3 July, King Tomislav Square once again becomes Zagreb’s most beautiful open-air stage. Organised by the Zagreb Tourist Board, the City of Zagreb and its partners, Zagreb Classic brings a series of free, top-quality musical performances.
Among the most eagerly anticipated events of the festival is the concert of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, taking place on 3 July 2026 at 9 p.m. Alongside the Choir and Orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, conducted by Maestro Ivan Repušić, audiences will have the opportunity to hear two major international opera stars – soprano Erin Morley, one of the leading artists of today and a regular guest at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and Lawrence Brownlee, one of the most distinguished bel canto tenors on the international stage.

Together with the Choir and Orchestra of the Opera of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, Zagreb audiences will have a unique opportunity to hear two outstanding artists of our time, Erin Morley and Lawrence Brownlee, who will also present their award-winning album Golden Age, recorded under the baton of Maestro Ivan Repušić. This gives special significance to their appearance in Zagreb.
