Festive celebration of Statehood DayFrom the theatre — 31. May 2025.
A festive celebration marking the Croatian Statehood Day was held at the CNT in Zagreb in the presence of the highest dignitaries, the president of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandroković, the Prime minister Andrej Plenković, Minister of Culture and Media Nina Obuljen Koržinek and ministers and officials of the Croatian political and social life.
The Prime minister Andrej Plenković and the president of the Croatian parliament Gordan Jandroković gave speeches and congratulated the Statehood Day. The festivity included the performance of the third act of opera Ero the Joker by Jakov Gotovac directed by Krešimir Dolenčić with maestro Ivan Repušić as conductor and with the participation of the Ballet, Orchestra and Chorus and soloists Ivica Čikeš, Dubravka Šeparović Mušović, Valentina Fijačko Kobić, Tomislav Mužek and Ljubomir Puškarić.
At the very beginning, the Opera soloist Filip Filipović sang the hymn of the Republic of Croatia.
The host of the evening was Iva Jerković Oreški, member of the Drama of the CNT in Zagreb.
