Vedran Janjanin, a young talented pianist who has gained renown on Croatian and world stages will give a piano recital on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the CNT Foyer of the CNT in Zagreb.

Vedran Janjanin is an exceptionally talented Croatian rising pianist. The audience was thrilled with his debut at the Wigmore Hall in 2023 and he was invited to give a soloist recital in 2024. Janjanin studied at the Academy of Music in Zagreb and at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, as well as at the Royal Academy for Music in London. His mentors were artists such as Christopher Elton, Dina Yoffe, Jerome Rose and Wayne Marshall and he himself lectured at the music school in Varaždin. 

He is the recipient of prestigious awards such as the Award Darko Lukić, Krajanski and St. Euphemia. 

Janjanin performed all over the world on stages such as Stefaniensaal in Graz, the Slovenian Philharmonic in Ljubljana, Royal College of Music and the Wigmore Hall and played as a soloist with orchestras such as the Zagreb Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Zagreb and the Orchestra of Young Musicians of Croatia. In 2016 he was on tour with the Central European Youth Orchestra with maestro Mladen Tarbuk as conductor.
