Mattia Baccon was born in 2001 in Foligno, Italy. He began his dance training at the Russian Ballet College in Genoa before moving to Ateneo della Danza in Siena, where he graduated and later earned a Ballet Teaching Diploma. His professional career started with Balletto di Siena, where he toured both nationally and internationally. In 2022, he joined the Varna State Opera as a soloist. Since September 2023, he has been performing at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, collaborating with distinguished choreographers such as Leo Mujić, Edward Clug, Maša Kolar and Wayne McGregor. Alongside his dance career, he is also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Turin.
