Međunarodno baletno natjecanje Mia Čorak Slavenska održat će se na sceni HNK u Zagrebu od 3. do 5 .srpnja 2018.
Predsjednik žirija je IREK MUHAMEDOV.
JUNIORSKA KATEGORIJA (do 18 godina): plesači u juniorskoj kategoriji izvode dvije klasične baletne varijacije.
SENIORSKA KATEGORIJA (od 19 do 28 godina): plesači u seniorskoj kategoriji izvode dvije klasične baletne varijacije ili jedan klasični pas de deux i jednu suvremenu koreografiju po vlastitom izboru u maksimalnom trajanju do 4 minute.

Hrvatsko društvo profesionalnih baletnih umjetnika u suradnji s Hrvatskom glazbenom mladeži suosnivač je ovog bijenalnog baletnog natjecanja koje se prvi puta održalo 2006., a od 2010. godine je međunarodnog karaktera od kada Hrvatsko kazalište u Zagrebu postaje domaćin natjecanja.
Točan raspored natjecanja bit će objavljen naknadno.
The International Ballet Competition Slavenska 2018 will take place at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb from July 3 to 5, 2018.

JUNIOR CATEGORY - up to 18 years
Male and female dancers in the JUNIOR category must prepare two classical ballet variations.
Candidates in the Junior category in every round dance one prepared variation.
SENIOR CATEGORY (19 to 28 years)
Male and female dancers in the SENIOR category must prepare two classical ballet variations
or a pas de deux and one contemporary choreography, solo or a duet of their own choice,
duration up to 4 minutes. Candidates in the Senior category perform two variations or
a pas de deux in the first round. In the second round candidates perform their contemporary choreography. Partners can be competing or non-competing.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: MAY 21, 2018
In 2006, the Croatian Society of Professional Ballet Artists together with the Croatian Musical Youth founded a biennial ballet competition. In 2010, the Competition became international. From that year onward, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb is the host of the Competition.
