Mozart's last opera The Magic Flute unites all the best characteristics of one of the greatest composers in history who, in the form of a fairy-tale, told the story about the fight of good against evil, about the victory of love and honesty over intrigues, malice and death. The Magic Flute after the libretto of Emanuel Schikaneder is one of the peaks of opera art and a challenge, both for the performers and the spectators. It had its world opening night on September 30, 1791, in Vienna, only two months before Mozart's death.
