The performance Bezgrešna / Immaculata produced by the Slovene National Theatre from Maribor is to be showcased on February 1, 2018 at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb.
Livija Pandur, the stage director, points out that Bezgrešna/Immaculata is a performance that began to appear in the mind, at the altar of love immersed into losses, loneliness and pain that never disappear. Since her sorrow for her brother and long-term associate Tomaž Pandur does not cease, this out of the ordinary, deeply emotional production has been created after his artistic postulates – to be a hunter of dreams.
The performance was created after the novel of the Irish writer Colm Tóibín titled The Testament of Mary in which the main character is the mother of Christ. She lives in exile and remembers the events that led to the brutal death of her son, raising questions that directly communicate with out reality. Nataša Matjašec Rošker interprets the leading character.
