The last ballet premiere this season received a big round of applause

The last ballet premiere this season received a big round of applauseBallet — 17. June 2023.

The audience gave a big round of applause and shouted bravos for the last ballet premiere this season Crossing the Line – Triple Bill in which almost the entire ballet ensemble took part. In the choreographies of Massimiliano Volpini (Scratch), Philippe Kratz (S) and Francesco Nappa (Phases), the spectators were able to see a symbiosis of classical and modern ballet.

Crossing the Line  is an evening of three different dance poetics of three diverse choreographers that have taken a walk from their (starting) point and embarked on a research and questioning of movement, body, dance technique and space, introducing a heterotopy of theatre space around the spectator leading to a place where they blend and encounter seemingly opposite worlds, seemingly opposite artistic performative dance forms, classical ballet and modern/contemporary dance said Iva Višak.
