This romantic story, a classic fairy-tale of Cinderella written by Charles Perrault, is narrated through the language of music by Sergey Prokofyev and movement by Derek Deane. Together with other classic ballets, Cinderella belongs to the very peak of the ballet literature and is always popular with the wide audience all over the world. Its popularity is mostly due to the perfect score saturated with the air of melodrama and deep sentimentality.
Cinderella by our Ballet has not only met the expectations set by its enrapturing music model, but also expanded it with the elegant dance style of Derek Deane, the spectacular visual identity of the scene and costumes by Roberta Guidi di Bagno and certainly with the inspired performance of the ensemble.
