On Saturday, December 9, 2017 the awarded drama performance 3 Winters by Tena Štivičić directed by Ivica Buljan was performed for the fiftieth time. A drama that follows the destinies of four generations of women that are connected by a single house, participating in the life phases of its heroes in diverse social and political changes from the premiere until today has been performed with great success on the stage of the CNT in Zagreb and on numerous Croatian and foreign tours. The performance was shown in Maribor, Ljubljana, Pula, Slavonski Brod, Brijuni, Rijeka, Belgrade and Podgorica. In Tel Aviv it was showcased at the 9th International Theatre Festival Hanoch Levin; in Sarajevo at the International Theatre Festival MES where best performance award; at the 27th Days of Marulić in Split it won the Award for contemporary drama text and the Award of the Audience for the best performance of the Festival. It was also shown at the 62th Sterijino pozorje in Novi Sad where the spectators were thrilled with the performance as well as at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
As part of the Cultural year of Austria – Croatia the performance was showcased on November 26, 2017 at the famous Viennese Volkstheater. The text was translated into German last year and published in the renowned theatre magazine Theater Heute.
The cast is Alma Prica, Ksenija Marinković, Dragan Despot, Jadranka Đokić, Luca Anić, Barbara Vicković, Mislav Čavajda, Bojan Navojec, Nina Violić, Damir Markovina, Siniša Popović, Mada Peršić, Silvio Vovk and Slavko Juraga. The set designer is Aleksandar Denić, costume designer Ana Savić Gecan and author of music Mitja Vrhovnik Smrekar.
For their drama interpretations the following actors received awards: Nina Violić (Tito Strozzi Award), Dragan Despot (Award Mila Dimitrijević), Jadranka Đokić (Award of Days of Marulić), Luca Anić (Croatian Theatre Arts’ Award and Award of Days of Marulić).
